Cultural Activities

If in Paris there is no enough time to enjoy and take advantages of all the cultural activities going around all year long, in PaP  is the complete opposite, begining by the fact that there are no cinemas. I've been only a bit more than 2 months here but it's enough time to feel a huge need to go to a movie, a concert, an exhibition.. or a simple walk. Besides going for a dinner in one of the expensive and fancy restaurants around Petion Ville that contrast with the cruel reality of the city, there is no that much to do in PaP. What most people do for the weekends is to go out PaP, they go to the mountains or to the beach but for that you need to have a car which I don't, therefore I have to restrict to the city options which are extremely limited. Though the good think is that I've increased my reading productivity.
 
Si en Paris no hay suficiente tiempo para disfrutar de todas las actividades culturales que tienen lugar a lo largo del año, en PaP es completamente lo opuesto, comenzando por el hecho de que ni siquiera hay cinemas. Unicamente he estado aca un poco mas de dos mesos, pero es tiempo suficiente para sentir una enorme necesidad de ir a cine, a un concierto, a una exposicion.. o simplemente a caminar por un parque. A parte de ir a comer a alguno de estos restarurantes costosos y chics que contrastan con la realidad de la ciudad, no hay mucho mas por hacer en PaP. Los fines de semana la gente sale de PaP, va a las montañas o a la playa, pero para hacer eso hay que tener carro y como yo no tengo, entonces tengo que limitarme a las escazas opciones que hay en PaP. Aunque lo bueno es que mi productividad leyendo ha incrementado.
